CV Parsing
CVReader assists the consultant in getting data into the system. The manual
method of retyping a candidate CV is time consuming and prone to error.
CVReader is used in automatically 'reading' the CV into five sections of data:
- Personal Info: This includes gender, race, contact details, language, DOB, current
employment info and physical address
- Work History: The information parsed covers employer, designation, start end dates
along with duties and responsibilities
- Qualifications: CVReader pulls quaification, location, institute and subjects from
the qualifications section of the CV
- Skills: A subset of skills is pulled from the CV along with duration, level and
date last used
- References: The candidate reference information is parsed into reference name, contact
details and relationship
Please note: CVReader can parse MS Word (2000, 2003 & 2007), PDF (not scanned),
HTML and RTF CV's.
Auto Upload
In some cases we are able to process a file folder of raw CV's by pushing them through
the CVReader engine automatically.
It typically takes 1 day to process 3000 CV's via the auto upload feature if done
by us. You are able to process CV's via the auto upload feature yourself,
but to a limit of 20 CV's per session.
